CRSA SPRINT CARS INVADE PENN CAN THIS FRIDAY ALONG WITH FULL SHOW OF ALL DIVISIONS; FACTORY STOCKS TO RUN STAR SERIES RACE; COMPETING FOUR CYLINDER DRIVERS ARE FREE

SUSQUEHANNA, PA…The CRSA Sprint Cars will invade Penn Can Speedway this Friday for their second of three appearances on the season. They will join a full show of Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Late Models and Four Cylinders, along with a STAR Series event for the Factory Stocks. Race time is 7:30 p.m. and all competing Four Cylinder drivers will be admitted free as part of the Driver Appreciation Program.

   The CRSA Sprint Cars made their first appearance on May 20th and Brian Krummel took the checkered flag over Eddie Strada, Scott Goodrich, Josh Flint and Brett Jaycox. Strada is the currenty CRSA point leader using three wins, eight top five’s and twelve top ten’s. He is followed in the standings by Kyle Smith, Emily VanInwegen, Dalton Herrick and Jaycox.

   The Factory Stocks will go to battle in a STAR Series race on Friday night. There 20 lap feature will pay $400 to the winner. Look for a strong field of Factory Stocks on Friday night as they challenge defending track champion, and current point leader, Jeremy Williams. The Factory Stocks have put on some great shows this year and Friday will be no exception.

   Alan Rudalavage became the first repeat winner in the Modified division in the last race. There have been eight different winners in nine races and there are several more drivers looking for their first win. Rudalavage is the current point leader over Joey Colsten as the point season winds down.

   All competing Four Cylinder drivers will be admitted free of charge on Friday night as part of the Driver Appreciation Program. They were the class that provided the most cars on their free night so they will get another free night this Friday.

   Street Stocks will be in competition on Friday night as well. They were not listed on the printed schedule because of a typographical error. Street Stocks will in fact be racing this Friday.

   Mike Schane is the current point leader in the Crate Sportsman division. He is being closely pursued by Marty Bunker as the point season comes to a close in the next couple of weeks. The championship is still up for grabs.

   The Crate Late Models will be in action as well on Friday. The new class this year has had a low car count, as expected for the first year but they have put on some great racing. Bud Phillips leads the way and will be looking for his ninth win on Friday.

   Get ready for a huge night of racing this Friday night at Penn Can Speedway in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.
